- wisdom. i pray for him to be smart and that he does well in school but so much more. i pray for some of the wisdom of solomon for him. i pray too that he is blessed with the knowledge of what to say to others, and that he speaks words of the Lord to those he meets.
- direction. he is versatile and talented. i just pray that he feels God's direction and guidance and chooses the right path. i pray he becomes the man God intends for him to be.
- joy. i hope we continue to make each other laugh. i hope that each day, he feels lighthearted and blessed. i pray that his mind be filled with positive thoughts.
- faith. i pray for him to have a strong relationship with the Lord. i pray for his faith to be rooted deeply in the word and the truth of the bible.
- discerning. i pray that he see truth and also recognize lies and untruth. i pray that he be discerning and choose the right path.
along with those things i pray for him, for myself i pray to be more like the proverbs 31 woman. these verses especially resonate with me:
she is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.

and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
